Fact and OpinionThis week we focused on reading critically and thinking about fact and opinion. While reading Animals Nobody Loves by Seymour Simon, an interesting book all about animals that may seem scary or harmful, we looked for facts and opinions presented by the author. Then, we formed our own opinions and presented reasons supporting our thoughts. It was interesting to learn that, often times, animals that may look scary are actually very beneficial to humans. Marble Jar Celebration! This week we filled the marble jar. We chose to celebrate together by turning our classroom into a movie theater. We invited our K1/K2 reading buddies to watch a fun movie while enjoying fresh made popcorn. We can't wait to fill the jar once more!
